Wild Turkey Bourbon: Now With Ghost Peppers

Whiskey advocates and casual drinkers alike shouldn't be afraid to admit that America is on a huge flavored-whiskey binge. Everywhere you look, classy gentlemen in monocles are ordering Jim Beam's Kentucky Fire, Jack Daniels' Tennessee Fire, and making Fireball at home.

Are we sensing a trend here? Yes. And now, Wild Turkey's contribution to this oh-so-spicy-sweet scene is American Honey Sting, a 35.5% ABV Bourbon liqueur made with ghost peppers, honey, and—of course—the artist, Sting.

Okay, so that last part was a lie, Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner of The Police has nothing to do with this bottle, but that doesn't make it any less special. Well, it does, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't drink it.

By messing with one of the spiciest peppers known to mankind, American Honey Sting separates itself from the rest of the competition by providing a hot flavor that punches you in the gut and leaves you feeling like you've just listened "Desert Rose" for the first time all over again.

Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that.
