Hennessey’s 570hp 2015 Escalade is a Beast

You know Hennessey. The crazy Texans that believe simply bringing more firepower isn't enough, so they bring as much as is humanly possible? The guys behind that incredible 270 mph Venom GT? Some beautifully insane person just gave them the keys to an Escalade. It's called, simply enough, the HPE550 Supercharged Escalade, and it now puts out 557 hp. They spent so much time carefully engineering the supercharging system and tweaking the electronics that not only is driveability perfect, it comes with a three year, 36,000 mile warranty.

Other than a few badges here and there, and a serial number to prove authenticity, they really didn't change much on the inside, since Cadillac pretty much nailed it the first time around. The package will set you back around $15,000 (and that doesn't include an extra $6,000 for the forged monoblock wheels), but if you can spare the change, the look on some unsuspecting Camaro driver's face when you blow his doors off more than justifies the cost.

Aaron Miller is the Rides editor for Supercompressor. He'd love to see an Escalade beat a Camaro in a drag race.
