Toyota just put all their trucks on steroids

Thanks to people like Ivan Stewart (that guy whose off-road racing arcade you used to play when you were at Tilt), Toyota has a few decades under their belt when it comes to going fast in places with no roads. Now, however, they're going even faster, and have given their TRD Pro (Toyota Racing Development) treatment to their 4Runner, Tacoma, and Tundra.

Ensuring you can maintain control at speed, they've teamed up with German shock manufacturer Bilstein to tune some high-end suspension bits that can take nearly anything you throw at them. All three vehicles are raised between 1.5 and 2 inches, and the springs have been softened a bit, so it's more comfy when you're blasting across dirt roads.

To make sure the rest of the truck comes out alright after you've enjoyed all the suspension goodies, Toyota's fitted an oil pan-protecting skid plate up front. This isn't Canada, we don't want oil in our sand.

Toyota didn't neglect the looks, either, so they're sporting black wheels and unique trim on the inside — not to mention this red they're calling Inferno, which makes sense if you want to drive your Tacoma up Dante's Peak.

To draw your mind back to the early days of TRD, they've used their old school Toyota branding on the front instead of the logo you'll find on the non-TRD versions, and if that's still not enough, they've even brought back the old arcade game, now in smartphone form.
