These Vermont-Made Kitchen Knives Are Made Of Repurposed Farm Materials

Chelsea Miller Knives are creating quite a buzz, for good reason. The Brooklyn-based knife maker repurposes materials from her family's Vermont farm to create one-of-a-kind knives made from high carbon tool steel, a material originally used on horse shoe rasps. They are gorgeous.

All of the knives are made by Chelsea herself, who started making them in 2010 as a way to get closer to her father. She also crafts cheese tools, cutting boards, and coasters in the same meticulous manner, allowing you to get a whole kitchen set, if your wallet allows.

Since she makes everything herself and the knives are so popular, supply is limited and her website store is currently totally sold out. She does make her more popular designs to order, but you'll have to wait two to eight weeks to have your very own slice of Americana in your kitchen.
