This Kit Transforms Your VW Van Into a Mobile Home

It's fair to surmise that no one honestly aspires to live out of a van. Though after seeing the Bett Mobil modular system impressively transform the interior of a Volkswagon van into a cozy one-room apartment, we're inclined to reconsider.

Outfitted specifically for Volkswagon's Multivan line (though compatible with other makes and models as well), the multi-piece setup would have presumably significantly improved things for motivational speaker Matt Foley, considering it provides much of the same creature comforts you'd find in a home that doesn't sit on four wheels.

You can outfit with as many or as few modules as needed, going full-throttle with extra storage compartments, a cooking setup, and washing/toilet station. Or keep it simple with just a bed in back. No matter the configuration, though, everything can be stacked and stowed without much trouble when it's time to move.

If your van's roof isn't already lofted or able to prop open, you can have it altered after-market pretty easily, however it's not necessary.

It's the ultimate camping and road-trip companion, especially if you go for the optional outdoor kitchen.

No doubt it'll be tough to go back to spending nights in a tent after cheating on them with this sumptuous setup.
