This New iPhone Mount Turns Your GoPro Into A Live-View Camcorder

We believe in putting GoPro cameras on pretty much everything. Corroboration and sharing of awesomeness breeds more awesomeness. At first glance, the Proview GoPro Cell Phone Mount seems like a ludicrous invention. Do you need to capture your walk down the street? Is it really necessary to have a GoPro record your texting? Obviously not.

But the point really isn't about capturing your life from your phone's point of view—it's that you now have a live-view screen (your phone!) attached to your GoPro, turning it into a useful camcorder.

The mount is a simple case with the characteristic GoPro knuckles on the top, allowing for the nut and bolt to fit right in. Besides having the ability to monitor your GoPro feed and keep it level on your subject, using the iPhone app right behind the camera allows for easy resolution changes and more tweaks without navigating the GoPro menus on its tiny screen.

And if you don't feel like using the knuckle on your case when you're not going pro, it comes with a second non-mount case top that you can swap out.
