Sleep in a Bear Bag

The latest state-of-the-art sleeping bag technology might be able to keep you warm while compressing to the size of a fist, but who cares about that when you can get a sleeping bag that looks like a bear. Originally conceived as an art project to commemorate the first German bear seen in 170 years, this fake-fur bag is now available for pre-order.

A few years ago when the bear was spotted wandering in Bavaria, the people embraced it — metaphorically, don't worry — and named it Bruno. However, not everyone was pleased that a bear was around, and the German government hunted him down. Now he's stuffed in a Munich Museum.

Although the sleeping bag was conceived to commemorate the bear and its relationship with humans, the real draw of the Bear Sleeping Bag is for the people who've always wanted to sleep inside an animal ever since they saw The Empire Strikes Back. If you snag the bag, the creator would very much appreciate some photos of you hanging in out in the bear.
