This Bike Light Is As Bright As An Actual Car Headlight
Getting around by bike may have countless benefits, but it has a glaring downside—riding at night can be absolutely terrifying. Even in well-lit urban areas, night biking is often sketchy at best without a powerful bike light. If you want one of the brightest, it's hard to beat Light and Motion's Taz 1500 Mad Wolf.
The Mad Wolf has FL-1 Standard-certified 1,500 Lumen output, so it’s seriously bright—brighter than a lot of cars' headlights bright. But if you don’t need that much light, medium and low settings (750 and 350 lumens respectively) are available to turn it down a notch and save battery. Additionally, Light and Motion's special sidelights turn on and off with a dedicated button, so if you’re in a better lit area you won’t have to waste your light.
The Mad Wolf is fully waterproof, so don’t worry if you get rained on. Additionally, its USB-rechargeable battery is good for 1.5 hours run time at its highest setting, and up to 6 hours at its lowest, and, most conveniently, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
Get it here for $300.
