Solid Gold Sunglasses Exist, Are $5,000

Purchasing $100+ sunglasses are among the biggest of grown-up decisions. Youthful years filled with $7 gas station sunglasses whose short lifespan ended with a crunch under our collective fat asses are no more. Indeed, it was a big step, and one we did without the help of frat bro croakies.

That said, we're not sure we're ever going to get to the level of Lindberg's new $5,000 Gold-Mirrored Sunglasses. Doesn't make 'em any less baller, though.

Lindberg is the Danish sunglass choice of the Queen, Brad Pitt, Bill Gates, and the president of France. They can be yours, too, if you have a spare $5,000 lying around. Why so pricey?

Not counting the above model that has red lenses on 18-carat gold frames, they've actually made another pair that uses 18-carat gold to mirror the lenses. All gold everything, basically.

Because the world really looks much better when you're looking at it through gold.
