The Winter Hammock For Arctic Relaxation

When you think of hammocks, the winter doesn't generally come to mind—unless you're the Norwegian startup, Amok Equipment. They've created the Draumr hammock to help make hanging out between two snowy trees a reality.

The included hammock, suspension straps and bug net allows campers to sturdily suspend themselves while a (not-included) foam pad keeps the hammock from twisting and turning from your recurring night-terrors.

Since it's a little more cocoon than your standard hammock, it tucks you in, shielding you from the harsh unforgiving environment around you, though you have to bring your own insulation. Fortunately, that can be in the form of another person, since the hammock supports 330 pounds.

Along with the promise of a cozy night's sleep, there's also a foot box to rest your feet and an integrated beverage holder for those much-desired delicious forest beers.

At just over four pounds, the Draumr is a fine investment for those desiring some aspect of summer during winter's evil grasp.
